The East Grand Rapids Community Foundation Trail Blazer is Monday, July 4!

Whether your a runner, a walker or a family with a stroller, the Trail Blazer is a fun, family-friendly 5K to support our beloved Reeds Lake Trail.

Register today!

New! 5K + Timed Race 

New this year, the Trail Blazer will be a 5K and, for competitive runners, the race will be officially timed so you can track your performance.

New Route

The race begins at the East Grand Rapids Community Center and follows the shore of Reeds Lake north and west around the lake before returning on the same route.

Race begins at 8:30 a.m. 

Proceeds from registration support the East Grand Rapids Community Foundation’s efforts to maintain, preserve and enhance the Reeds Lake Trail.

Registration categories and fees

Adult (run, walk or run/walk with jogger) $35
Kids Registration (10 and under, run, bike or walk.) $15
