Fall Sports 2025

Interscholastic Teams will have a 10-12 match schedule and play against schools in the surrounding area. Depending on enrollment after evaluations, players will be placed onto specific teams (A,B or Rec) based on their skill level.

Evaluation Goal: To ensure that team placements are fairly and objectively determined. To give each player the opportunity to be selected onto the A, B or Rec. teams depending on skill level, hard work and attitude.

A current athletic physical (Dated on or after April 15, 2025 is required to participate in this sport)

Evaluation dates
Aug. 18 7th (4:00-5:30) and 8th 5:30-7:00
Aug. 19 7th (4:00-5:30) and 8th 5:30-7:00
Aug. 20 Both grades at 4:00-5:30 (kids can attend the 7:00pm Varsity game on Memorial Field)
Location: EGR Middle School Gym

Practices M-TH: 
Coaches will pick a 1 to 1.5 hour practice time between the hours of 3:30-7:00.

New Game Format (Mondays and Wednesdays)
7A 4:00/4:15 followed by 8A 5:00/5:15
7B 4:00/4:15 followed by 8B 5:00/5:15

Interscholastic 7th Grade Tournament: Oct. 11 at Northview
Interscholastic 8th Grade Tournament: Oct. 4 at Forest Hills Eastern

League Rules: Matches will consist of (3) sets to 21. All players must play the equivalent of one game.

Rec Team:
Players will receive a reduced fee and play 4-6 matches against other schools or inter-squad games.
Game dates and times: TBA (No Tournament for Rec. Teams)

Boys Tennis (6th-8th grade) 

League Team Matches: Home and Away Matches will take place at 4:00 or 6:00

Practices: Monday through Thursday unless a match is scheduled. 
New Practice Times: 5:30-7:00
New Location: Canepa Tennis Center

First Practices: Aug. 19, 5:30-7:00, Canepa Tennis Center

Middle School Boys Soccer (7th-8th)

This competitive league is open to boys currently in the 7th-8th grade.

Practices: Mondays and Wednesdays (Times could range between 4:00pm-7:00pm)
Games: Tuesdays and Thursdays (Days subject to change with game times of 4:00pm/5:00pm)

Practices times will TBA by coaches.

Needed Supplies: Soccer Cleats and Shin Guards

Participating WMMSC League Schools: East Kentwood, Wyoming, Jenison, Grandville, Allendale, Zeeland, Hudsonville, Holland, West Ottawa, Grand Haven, Muskegon

6th Grade Coed Soccer
This competitive league is open to boys and girls currently in the 6th grade. Competition will come from other middle schools in the surrounding area. Participants will have 2-3 practices a week. Games will be played during the week and weekends.

Practices times will TBA by coaches.
Games Times: Weekday Evening games and Saturday morning to mid afternoon

Needed Supplies: Soccer Cleats and Shin Guards
Depending on enrollment these dates will either be evaluations or practices:
